“I am Jennifer Goodley. I have been involved with Special Olympics for 26 years, since I was 12 years old. I have been competed in many sports over the years. Every season I competed in basketball, soccer, powerlifting, softball, bowling and volleyball. I competed in last year’s USA Games in powerlifting.
I had the honor to be chosen to run the torch and light the flames at the opening ceremonies. At the Games I won gold medal, silver medal and two bronze medals.
I have worked at Safeway for 18 years and I am independent.”
